Well,
This is my first blog.
I certainly have a lot to write about of the past few weeks. Work has been hectic for me. I am a model maker by trade and I have been booked with finishing work for a full month or so, but it feels more like an eternity. Not that I really mind; it's slow pain staking at times taking an sinter laser stereo-lithography (SLS) in dudtrial models and making them look real. More often than not, we need them to be loaded with thier guts and run as as sales sample or testing . I like my job because usually about evey couple week the nature of my daily activity changes enough that I don't feel like I am doing mundane work.
I am talented in other facets of model making and the industrial design realm which I can get into depth as my work comes later on. In short, I do Computer numeric control (CNC) machining, computer aided design and computer aided machining (CAD/CAM) as well as, traditional model making and operating machinery and other tools required which allow me to be really good at what I do. We are expected to be innovative and on the cutting edge of technology via the our groups combined talents, as well as our own ideas and inventions while we fulfill our typical daily company engineering, marketing, and industrial design needs. Our department at MTD is "The Advanced Engineering Group".
Other stuff lately:
I am getting a cool cat from my daughter in Springfield Oregon. The cat apparently was left homeless because his former owners sucumed to cancer and her surviving relatives did not want the cat. Very odd considering the cat is chipped and quite vauable. He is also trained as a therapy or therapudic cat for people. He's an all white long haired angoran with one eye green and the other one blue. He will be named "Hermes".
My wifes Jaguar blew out a tire on the 202 freeway (Friday) today. I got her phone call to come rescue her; which I did at about 4:30 pm afternoon. So we are going to need to purchase 4 new run-flat low profile tires this weekend. I really didn't need another huge purchase right now; my wife Ella has not worked for about two and a half years now, so money is not growing on our trees so much anymore.
My wife and I have a date tomorrow. We are planning on going to "Zorba's" greek restuarant for the gyro combo plate. I highly recommend theisr gyro's and pita bread. I alway have a Dr. Pepper too. After we eat, we may go to the movies. My wife will choose what movie we see. I wouldn't mind seeing a couple movies one after the other. I did that with my daughter Rebecca last week on our daddy daughter date. It was really nice to spend time with her. She is 20 in September Ella and I have 3 most beatiful daughters together; Jennifer who is married to James; they are expecting thier first baby daughter in Septeber, Rebecca who finished her 1st year at NAU a week ago, and Jessica who graduates from Chandler high school May 24th..
We need to shop for food and get lunch monies in change after all that Saturday if we don't all tire and fade away in the evening.

What I really should do saturday is wash my Corvette. It has really gotten dust inside and out. It alway is hard for me to do stuff around the home or cars because I would rather spend the time being with my lovely wife Ella or watching television. I need to get some sun too...and that takes time outside. The pool is warming up so that will help.
